Olivia Spends A Week With FNG On Work Experience

I had the pleasure of spending four days with FNG for my Year 12 Work Experience. Before starting the Work Experience placement, I had limited knowledge of what the company specialised in but now at the end of my Work Experience placement I have a much greater understanding of what the team do on a daily basis.

I was fortunate to be able to sit and have conversations with many members of the lovely team, who gave up their own time to discuss what their roles involve and their journey to getting where they are today.

On the first day of my placement, I was introduced to the whole team who were very welcoming and immediately made me feel comfortable. I was given a health and safety brief and provided with my own working space and equipment.

I was given a brief on what my working week would involve. Throughout the week, I was trusted to complete many tasks which linked closely to a HR role, which I am interested In pursuing a career in. I believed my work experience would involve shadowing the team however I was made to feel very involved by being given these tasks to complete.

 At the start of the week, I was certain that I wanted to pursue a career in HR however after speaking to members of the team, I have been introduced to many other job roles which I would also be interested in pursuing a career in. I thoroughly enjoyed spending four days with FNG, they are an amazing team who are specialists in the IT sector.
